How to grill chicken thighs with simple flavoring. Serve white barbecue sauce alongside this easy chicken thigh recipe for a delicious dinner!
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1/2 to 1 cup apple cider vinegar **see notes
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire
- 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or more to taste)
- 4 Chicken thighs (skin on, bone in)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
In a medium bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and vinegar (**see notes) until smooth.
Mix in the remaining sauce ingredients, stirring well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least a half an hour.
Sprinkle Chicken thighs with salt, pepper and garlic.
Place the chicken thighs skin side down on a preheated grill and cook for 15 minutes. Turn the thighs and cook for an additional 10 minutes** or until the chicken has an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
**Baste with white BBQ sauce during the last 2 minutes of grilling.
Allow the chicken to rest for 2-3 minutes, then serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
**This is a very vinegary sauce. We sometimes use less vinegar if we feel like cutting down on that flavor. Use anywhere between 1/2 cup to 1 cup for this recipe. Adjust to the way you want it to taste!
